Google April Fool’s: Play Pac-Man in Google Maps

If you like Pac-Man, then go to Google Maps right now. The search giant has an April Fool’s treat for you. You can now play the old game in both desktop and mobile versions of Google Maps.

For the mobile version, you can’t play it just anywhere. Google made a list of clues to lead you to places where Pac-Man can be played. Once you figure out where the clues go, head on over there through Google Maps, tap the Pac-Man icon and play away. And you better start playing if you’re interested because no one knows when this game will end.

  • Don’t drop the ball on the eve of your victory!
  • Triumph is délicieux.
  • Does a Galaxian bonus await at the top of those 272 steps?
  • Chomp your way to independence down seven lanes of July.
  • PAC-MAN and Ms. PAC-MAN can’t agree on which side is prettier: the American or the Canadian. Which side do you fall on, eh?
  • After a chat with the Sphinx, PAC-MAN sounds more like “Dokki Dokki”.
  • Pause game play to admire Chagall’s stained glass windows and have a bit of chocolate.
  • Can you score 10^(10^100) points?
  • Whether they’re flashing blue or sporting their natural colors, Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde are always kakkoii. Even Vogue agrees they’re living in the trendiest of neighborhoods.
  • Previous PAC-MAN lives don’t get to rest in a white marble mausoleum.
  • Head to the valley of the sun and earn your grade in the art of the game.
  • How well can you navigate the radiating streets of the distrito federal?
  • Victory is like gothic glockenspiel musik to our ears.
  • Pay special attention to Blinky – he might blend in with the dreaming red kangaroos!
  • You’ll find the Beach PAC-MAN World Cup here before long.

(SPOILER ALERT) If you’re as clueless or as lazy as me about the locations, then worry not because I googled it for you and found this post from Mashable. They seem to have found all the locations. Go ahead and try it out. I can’t make Pac-Man work on all places, but you might have better luck than me.

Tried to lool for Pac-Man from Intramuros to Pasig. Nothing, though I found him in Niagara falls. Pretty good April Fools stuff from Google. This and the Pokemon hunt last year.
