iflix has a vast library of TV episodes and movies, spanning over 11,000 hours of entertainment you can enjoy everywhere. Content includes videos from Disney, Twentieth Century Fox, BBC, and Warner Bros., to name a few. Smart subscribers can avail of the service for a special rate of only PHP99 a month. While non-subscribers can also enjoy the service at a still affordable price of Php129 a month.

PLDT HOME DSL and PLDT HOME Ultera subscribers can enjoy iflix as an add-on option on top of their monthly fees, also only P99 per month. Fibr Plan customers can enjoy iflix for free as part of their subscription. While, HOME customers who will upgrade to a TVolution or Telpad plan will have unlimited access to iflix at no additional fee.

iflix is available on both Android and iOS through the Google Play Store and the App Store. To get started, download the app and then register an account at www.iflix.com. You will receive a 14-day trial period. Once the trial expires, you can decide to continue on with the subscription for only PHP99 per month (for Smart and PLDT subscribers) or PHP129 for the rest.

I have been using iflix for a few weeks (watching Friends and episodes of Conan) and the experience has been enjoyable. The video quality is not HD, but it’s still very good, especially on mobile. The videos load fast and it hardly buffers. Best of all, there is a huge number of cartoons to choose from for the kids (and kids at heart/batang isip) to enjoy. You could even use your account on up to 5 devices. That should cover most members of your household.

The launch event was held at the Green Sun in Pasong Tamo, Makati. It was attended by bloggers, media members and celebrities. Heather Morris, who played Britney Pierce on the TV show Glee, flew in from the States to attend the event.
