AnTuTu recently released their Top 10 best performing Android phones for the month of December 2018. The list is topped by the Huawei Mate 20 series.

As you may know, AnTuTu Benchmark is a widely used benchmarking tool that lets users check the performance of Android and iOS devices.

In the months of November and December 2018, the Huawei Mate 20, the Mate 20 Pro, and the Mate 20 X sat at numbers 1 to 3, boasting scores of 306,608, 303,313, and 300,759, respectively. The handsets are all powered by Huawei’s 7nm Kirin 980 processor.

This year, incoming smartphones will be powered by the Snapdragon 855, which is expected to score over 350,000 points on the benchmarking app. It will be interesting how this affects the rankings.

AnTuTu sets statistical rules to qualify. Scores are averaged, and collected from September 1 to 30, 2018. At least 1000 units should be tested using AnTuTu Benchmark V7.
