AnTuTu: Global top 10 best performing midrange Android phones in August 2020

Midrange phones nowadays are often times viable options from flagships, capable of providing a similar experience for a much cheaper price.

The midrange segment is probably the most popular in the industry as well, filled with smartphones that offer affordability and performance. Often times, devices in this range skim that line of entry level flagships.

Since we posted the top 10 performing flagships according to AnTuTu, here are the top 10 best performing midrange Androids. Like the flagship list, this one is dominated Qualcomm, with six devices running Snapdragons.

OnePlus Nord 5G official, specs

The best performing midrange Android phone, according to AnTuTu, is the new OnePlus Nord. It recently unseated the long number one midranger, the Redmi K30 5G. Both devices are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. Average scores are close too with 326,958 and 313,951, respectively.

The next handset on the list is the Huawei nova 7i. The phone is powered by a Kirin 810 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

At number four is the realme 6. Interestingly, is has higher average score than the realme 6 Pro, which is number six. Here, the Helio G90T outclasses the Snapdragon 720G, but not by much.

At five, seven and eight, we have three Redmi phones with the Note 8 Pro, Note 9 Pro, and the Note 9S. The last two on the list is the OPPO Reno4 4G and the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro.
