Xiaomi launched the MIUI 12, the latest iteration of their OS. It was announced alongside the Mi 10 Youth, despite the phone coming with MIUI 11.
According to Xiaomi, they have rebuild MIUI 12 from scratch. It is still based on Android 10, but features new animation, a cleaner layout, an improved dark mode, better security and privacy management, and more. They intend to challenge iOS, if only in the dynamism of their new animation.
Interestingly, Xiaomi is beta testing the upcoming update on 22 smartphones, targeting a June roll out for the stable version on some of the handsets.
