Apple might introduce a yellow iPhone 14 soon

Apple is rumored to launch a yellow version of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus this month.

According to a Weibo post by Setsuna Digital, which was shared by Japanese blog Macotakara, Apple plans to introduce the yellow-colored iPhone 14 models this week. The post also claims that Apple will hold a product briefing on March 10 to announce the new color option.

The yellow iPhone 14 would join the existing five colors: black, white, red, green, and blue. The green color was added in March 2022 as a mid-cycle refresh for the iPhone 13 lineup. The yellow color would be similar to the one offered for the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 in previous years.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus come with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED displays, respectively, powered by A15 Bionic chips, and armed with dual rear cameras with optical image stabilization. They also support MagSafe accessories and wireless charging.

The yellow iPhone 14 models are expected to have the same specifications and prices as their counterparts in other colors with the iPhone 14 at ₱56,990 ($799) for the 128GB variant and the iPhone 14 Plus at ₱63,990 ($899) for the 128GB variant.

The yellow color option could be a way for Apple to boost sales of its iPhone 14 models ahead of the launch of the next-generation iPhone SE, which was pronounced dead, only to be rumored to restart again. The iPhone SE 4 is rumored to have several upgrades, including a larger display, an improved processor, and a new design similar to the iPhone 14.
