Xiaomi Philippines announced that they will launch the Redmi Note 12 Series in the country on April 13, 2023.
The company didn’t mention which ones are coming to the Philippines. There are four possible candidates: Redmi Note 12 4G, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. We’re expecting to see all four, but we’ll find out soon in the coming days.
The Redmi Note 12 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 2400×1080 resolution. The 4G variant is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset with a 50MP main camera and MIUI 14 based on Android 13. It features a more flat edge design.
The 5G variant, on the other hand, has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset with a 48MP main camera and an Android 12-based MIUI 14. This variant also has a slimmer 7.9mm design.

The phones come in 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB models, with a 5000mAh battery and 33W fast charging. It has a side-fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IP53 certification, and graphite cooling.
In the meantime, the Pro variants feature different cameras and are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G has a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX766, and a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G features a 200MP main camera with a Samsung HPX sensor, and a 4980mAh battery with a blazing 120W fast charging.
