Apple launched the new 24‑inch iMac with M3 chip, a powerful and sleek desktop computer that runs on macOS Sonoma. The new iMac with M3 chip is up to 2x faster than the prior generation with M1, and up to 4x faster than the most powerful 21.5-inch Intel-based iMac.
The iMac with M3 features a stunning 4.5K Retina display with 11.3 million pixels and over a billion colors, delivering vivid and lifelike images. The display also has True Tone technology, which automatically adjusts the color temperature to match ambient lighting. It is housed in a thin and elegant design that comes in seven vibrant colors: blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange, and purple.
It also comes with a range of ports for connectivity, including two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports that support up to 6K external displays, USB 3.1 Gen 2, and DisplayPort. The new iMac with M3 starts at ₱84,990 in the Philippines.
The iMac with M3 also features a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, a six-speaker sound system with spatial audio, a studio-quality three-microphone array, a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, a Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad, and a color-matched braided power cord. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for fast and reliable wireless connectivity.
The iMacs are not only powerful and beautiful but also environmentally friendly. They are built using 100% recycled aluminum in the stand, recycled rare earth magnets, recycled tin soldering in multiple printed circuit boards, and, in a first for iMac, 100% recycled gold in the plating of multiple printed circuit boards.
These are also free of numerous harmful substances such as beryllium, brominated flame retardants, and mercury, and 100% of the wood fiber in the packaging is recycled or comes from responsibly managed forests.
