Xiaomi 13T Pro gets HyperOS update in Europe

Xiaomi started rolling out its new operating system, HyperOS, to the Xiaomi 13T Pro users in Europe. The update is available via over-the-air (OTA) and has a file size of around 5.8GB.

HyperOS is Xiaomi’s latest OS that aims to connect personal devices, cars, and smart home devices to its smart ecosystem. It is based on Android 14 and incorporates Xiaomi Vela, the company’s own IoT software platform. The new OS claims to offer more efficiency, smoothness, and compatibility across different devices and enhanced security and privacy features.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro is a flagship smartphone launched in September 2023. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, a Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage, a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Leica main lens, a 20MP selfie camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

The HyperOS update for the Xiaomi 13T Pro is expected to bring new features and improvements to the device, such as a new render pipeline, HDR10+ video recording, artistic lock screen, and more.

With the HyperOS update seeding in Europe, it’s only a matter of time before it becomes available in other regions.

Xiaomi has previously announced that HyperOS will be released for some of its products from December 2023 to January 2024 and for the global market from the first quarter of 2024.
