The original Nintendo Switch was first announced nine years ago, and fans have been eagerly awaiting news of its successor ever since. While details remain scarce, Furukawa’s announcement confirms that the wait is nearing its end. Nintendo has not provided any specifics regarding the announcement. Nintendo Direct is happening in June where the company will detail the Switch lineup for the latter half of 2024. However, Furukawa said there would be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during that presentation.
