The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) officially launched the PhilHealth Digital Transformation Systems on July 9, 2024.
DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy and Undersecretary David Almirol Jr. joined PhilHealth President and CEO Emmanuel Ledesma Jr. and Executive Vice President and COO Eli Dino Santos in launching the enhanced system.
The successful integration of PhilHealth functionalities into the existing eGovPH app leverages the platform’s Single-Sign-On (SSO) system, allowing users to seamlessly access PhilHealth services with their existing digital national ID credentials.
What this means for you
By utilizing the eGovPH app, Filipinos can now manage various PhilHealth aspects directly from their smartphones. This includes:
- Accessing PhilHealth profiles and contribution information.
- Registering for membership or with Konsulta providers.
- Viewing claims history.
- Locating PhilHealth KonSulTa service areas.
- Booking appointments (availability to be confirmed).
With the convenience of the eGovPH app, managing PhilHealth membership and services is now easier and more convenient.
