Apple has announced the latest addition to its MacBook Air lineup, now featuring the powerful M4 chip and a new Sky Blue color option.
The MacBook Air M4 is available in two display sizes: 13.6 inches and 15.3 inches. Both models are equipped with a Liquid Retina IPS panel, True Tone technology, and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
Under the hood, the new MacBook Air is powered by the M4 processor, introduced in May 2024. This chip boasts a 10-core CPU, up to a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine.
According to Apple, this makes the laptop up to 3.6 times faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air when editing in Adobe Photoshop. It’s also up to 8 times faster in iMovie editing and 60 percent faster than a PC laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor for web browsing.
In terms of connectivity, the MacBook Air M4 offers two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also includes MagSafe 3 and USB-C charging.
Price and Availability
The MacBook Air M4 comes in Sky Blue, Silver, Starlight, and Midnight colors. The official prices of the new laptops in the Philippines are as follows:
