Borderlands 4 will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 3, 2025. The game is now available for pre-order in three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe.

This marks the first Borderlands title on Nintendo’s newest console. In the game, players will explore a new planet called Kairos and face a powerful new enemy known as the Timekeeper. The game features four new Vault Hunters, Vex, Rafa, Harlowe, and Amon, each with unique skills.
Built for co-op play, Borderlands 4 supports online multiplayer, local play, and GameChat. Players can share screens, connect USB-C cameras, and use new party features across game modes. Instanced loot, level scaling, and personal difficulty settings help keep gameplay balanced.
The Nintendo Switch 2 adds new tools like Joy-Con 2 mouse support and virtual game cards. These features make it easier to aim, move, and share game access across devices.

Here’s what each edition includes:
- Standard Edition: Base game
- Deluxe Edition: Extra content like DLCs, cosmetics, and vehicles
- Super Deluxe Edition: Adds story expansions and bonus packs
A pre-order bonus pack offers exclusive skins and cosmetics. Details for pre-orders in select Asian markets will be announced soon.
