realme is set to launch the GT 8 and GT 8 Pro in China this October. The company announced on Weibo. However, it hasn’t shared an exact release date yet. Pre-orders are already open on realme’s online store and through other resellers.
The GT 8 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch flat display with slim bezels. It may include a 50MP main camera, a 200MP periscope lens, and an ultrawide sensor. The phone is also expected to pack a large 8,000mAh battery.
realme’s launch adds to a busy October for smartphone releases. vivo is set to unveil its X300 series on October 13 in China, which includes MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chips, ZEISS-powered 200MP cameras, and a 50MP selfie shooter.
OPPO, on the other hand, will launch the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro on October 16, also powered by the Dimensity 9500 chip and featuring batteries over 7,000mAh.
