Samsung is ending software support for these Galaxy smartphones

Samsung fulfills its four-year update promise.

Samsung has officially ended software support for four of its mid-range smartphones: the Galaxy A03s, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy F42 5G, and Galaxy M32 5G. These devices launched between August and September 2021 and have reached the end of their four-year update cycle.

While major Android upgrades for these models stopped earlier, Samsung has continued to provide regular security patches. However, that support has now ended, meaning these phones will no longer receive any updates.

Without future patches, the phones may become more vulnerable to security threats and compatibility issues with newer apps or services.

We recommend upgrading to a newer device. Without ongoing security updates, older phones become more vulnerable to cyber threats. Staying protected starts with the basics, and that includes using a device that still receives regular patches.
