The Redmi Turbo 5 Max has gone official in China, marking the debut of MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500s chip.
The phone pairs the processor with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, backed by a large vapor chamber for cooling.
Battery life is a major highlight. The Turbo 5 Max carries a massive 9,000mAh cell with support for 100W wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging.
Xiaomi’s P3 fast charging and G1 battery management chipsets are onboard to keep things efficient.
Up front is a 6.83‑inch AMOLED display with 12‑bit color, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. It peaks at 3,500 nits brightness, runs at 120Hz, and offers a 480Hz touch sampling rate. Security is handled by a 3D ultrasonic in‑display fingerprint scanner.
For cameras, the phone has a 50MP Light Fusion 600 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 20MP selfie shooter.
Other features include stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, dual‑SIM support, IP69K water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi‑Fi 6, and NFC. It runs on Android 16 with HyperOS 3.

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max starts at CNY 2,499 (around PHP 21,230 / USD 360) for the 12GB+256GB model, with the top 16GB+512GB variant priced at CNY 3,299 (PHP 28,020 / USD 480). Color options are Auspicious Cloud White, Ocean Blue, Sunshine Orange, and Shadow Black.
