MediaTek Dimensity 7500 announced with Arm C1 cores

MediaTek has announced the Dimensity 7500, its latest mobile processor and the first to feature Arm’s C1 CPU cores. The chip is built on a 4nm process and uses an octa‑core setup with four Arm C1 Pro cores running at 2.6GHz and four Arm C1 Nano cores at 2.0GHz.

The Dimensity 7500 boasts performance gains over the previous generation. It delivers up to 68% faster video transcoding, 40% faster file transfers, 30% quicker app switching, 11% faster installs, and 19% faster game load times.

Power efficiency also improves, with everyday apps running 5–9% more efficiently and games seeing 4–7% better efficiency.

For AI workloads, the chipset is equipped with a MediaTek NPU 850 to handle generative AI tasks. Graphics are powered by a Mali‑G625 MC2 GPU, supporting displays up to 1344×2800 resolution at 144Hz refresh rate.

It also supports LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 storage, cameras up to 200MP, and 4K HDR video recording. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi‑Fi 6E.
