PLDT, Smart partners with NBA to offer League Pass

PLDT and Smart recently forged a partnership with NBA to bring the NBA League Pass to Filipino fans and subscribers.

PLDT and Smart recently signed a partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA) to make available select offerings from the NBA League Pass, the NBA’s premium live game subscription service to Filipino fans.

For PHP 50 per day, fans can access live NBA games online via the Day Pass. The Day Pass lets subscribers watch live games on their iOS or Android devices for 24-hours.

“We are excited to work with PLDT and Smart, two companies that share our passion for providing live NBA action and exciting content to our Filipino fans on the devices they use most. PLDT and Smart provide the ideal platform for us to broaden our reach in the Philippines and provide more channels to bring the NBA experience to our passionate fans across the country,” said NBA Philippines Managing Director Carlo Singson.

To avail, Smart Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers need only text NBA50 and send to 9999.

Aside from the Day Pass, the partnership also makes Smart and PLDT the official partners of the NBA 3X Philippines by AXA. It is a NBA-sanctioned 3-on-3 tournament open to men’s and women’s teams.
