You can now download iOS 13 for your compatible iPhone.
Among its features, Apple’s latest OS comes with a new system wide Dark Mode, a new Photos app with more editing capabilities, a better Apple Maps app, and a more robust Reminders app.
There’s also a new Quickpath keyboard with a swipe-to-type functions and improved word prediction, a new look for the volume indicator, and new Memoji features.
iOS 13 also comes with features exclusive to the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and the 11 Pro Max. There’s the camera UI buttons that lets you seamlessly toggle between ultra-wide and telephoto. You can also hold down the photo shutter button to capture videos. And the TrueDepth front camera that allows you to take wider selfies and record videos at 4K60fps.

You can download the update by going to Settings> General> Software Update. The file is around 2GB in size. Make sure you have enough battery life or you’re plugged into a charger before proceeding. Also, it wouldn’t hurt to perform a back-up just in case.

Should you download it immediately? It depends on your appetite for risk. As with any update, bugs and other issues could arise. It wouldn’t hurt to play safe. I, on the other hand, will download and install on my daily driver as soon as I can.
