Apple launches the new yellow color for both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. The yellow iPhones join the existing range of midnight, starlight, red, blue, purple, and pink colors that were launched last year.
It was reported yesterday that the launch was “imminent”, with news of Apple’s PR team scheduling a briefing with reporters for the new hue.
The yellow iPhones have the same features and specifications as the other iPhone 14 models, including a durable Ceramic Shield front cover, an updated A15 Bionic chip, a dual-camera system with Night mode and cinematic mode, MagSafe wireless charging and accessories support, Face ID security, and iOS 15 software.
The yellow iPhones are available for pre-order starting March 10 on Apple’s Philippine website and through authorized resellers. They will start shipping on March 14. The prices start at ₱56,990 ($699) for the iPhone 14 (128GB) and ₱63,990 ($799) for iPhone 14 Plus (128GB). Customers can also opt for higher storage capacities or trade in their old devices for credit.

The yellow color is a mid-cycle refresh to boost the sales of the iPhone 14 lineup, similar to the green color for the iPhone 13 lineup in March 2022, and the purple color of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in April 2021.
What do you think? Would you get a yellow iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Plus?
