Nintendo authorized store to open in the Philippines this May

Nintendo is opening its first authorized store in the Philippines. It will be located on Level 2 at SM Makati and is set to welcome fans in May 2026. The mall operator posted the announcement on its official Facebook page.

This is Nintendo’s first direct retail presence in the country. Until now, most Nintendo products have been sold through third-party shops and online platforms.

The store gives fans a reliable place to check out what Nintendo has to offer. Expect official Nintendo Switch consoles, accessories, and popular titles, plus exclusive merchandise that’s been hard to find locally.

SM Makati was chosen as the launch site, thanks to its central location and heavy foot traffic. The move also shows Nintendo’s growing interest in Southeast Asia, where gaming continues to grow fast.

The Philippines has a big and active gaming community, and this store is seen as a way for Nintendo to strengthen its presence here. In 2022, the company launched its official website for the local market. With an official outlet, customers can look forward to better after-sales support and access to promos.
