Meta is rolling out paid subscription plans for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The new Plus subscriptions give users extra tools and personalization features.
Instagram Plus ($3.99/month | ₱65/month in the Philippines) adds advanced Story features like rewatch counts, unlimited audience lists, spotlighting, longer durations, and hidden previews. It also unlocks custom fonts, app icons, and Super Heart reactions.
Facebook Plus ($3.99/month | ₱65/month in the Philippines) offers similar creator‑focused tools, while WhatsApp Plus ($2.99/month) brings themes, ringtones, pinned chats, and premium stickers. WhatsApp Plus is currently offered in Pakistan, Mexico, Canada, and New Zealand.
Meta is grouping these under a broader Meta One umbrella that will cover consumer, creator, business, and AI plans.
On the AI side, Meta One Plus ($7.99/month | around ₱490) and Meta One Premium ($19.99/month | roughly ₱1,230) give Meta AI users more compute power, deeper reasoning, and expanded video/image generation.
The free tier stays for casual use. Testing starts next month in Singapore, Guatemala, and Bolivia.
For creators and businesses, Meta is offering Meta One Essential ($14.99/month | around ₱920) with verified badges, impersonation protection, and enhanced linksheets.

The higher‑tier Meta One Advanced ($49.99/month | around ₱3,080) boosts visibility in feeds and search, adds stronger analytics, scheduling tools, and content credit notifications. These will be tested in Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Thailand, and Bangladesh.
To subscribe to Facebook Plus:
- Open the Facebook mobile app and log in to your account.
- Tap Menu in the top right.
- Tap Settings & Privacy, then tap Settings.
- Tap Accounts Center.
- Tap Subscriptions, then tap Facebook Plus.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to review payment information and confirm your purchase. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
To subscribe to Instagram Plus:
- Open the Instagram mobile app and log in to your account.
- Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap Menu in the top right, then tap Accounts Center.
- Tap Subscriptions, then tap Instagram Plus.
- Tap Continue.
- Review the payment information and confirm your purchase. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.
To subscribe to WhatsApp Plus:
- Open WhatsApp Settings.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap WhatsApp Plus. (Note: If you don’t see this option, the subscription may not be available to you yet.)
- Tap Continue.
- Review the payment information and confirm your purchase. Payments are processed through the Google Play Store (for Android) or the Apple App Store (for iPhone).
