iPhone Duo shortages expected to continue, says Apple

Apple says the iPhone Duo will remain in short supply as demand continues to outpace supply. The company admits it still does not know when inventory levels will improve.

The iPhone Duo sold out quickly after pre-orders opened. Since then, delivery dates have continued to slip as more buyers try to get their hands on Apple’s first foldable phone.

Apple executives said demand remains much higher than available supply. Even after increasing production orders, the company is still struggling to keep up with customer interest.

Customers in several markets are still facing long wait times for new units. Apple Stores also have limited stock, making it harder for buyers to find the device.

The company also responded to reports about display issues on some units. Apple said only a small number of devices were affected and that replacement units are being provided to eligible customers.

In the Philippines, however, replacement units appear to be difficult to secure. There have been reports from local users that authorized resellers and service centers still do not have replacement stock available for some warranty cases, adding to concerns about the phone’s limited supply.

Despite the shortage, Apple remains optimistic about demand for the foldable device. The company has already factored the supply constraints into its business outlook.

If you plan to buy an iPhone Duo, expect limited availability and possible delays. Those waiting for replacement units may also need a little more patience while Apple works to improve supply.
