Apple Pay now lists official PH bank partners

Apple has updated its support page to confirm the banks that now officially support Apple Pay in the Philippines. We listed these banks earlier when the service rolled out, but this time it’s official.

At the time of writing, here’s the confirmed list of banks:

  • China Banking Corporation – Visa credit and debit cards, Mastercard credit cards
  • GoTyme Bank Corporation – Visa debit and credit cards
  • Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company (Metrobank) – Visa credit cards, Mastercard credit and debit cards
  • Union Bank of the Philippines – Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards

With these banks onboard, iPhone and Apple Watch users can add their cards to the Wallet app and start making secure, contactless payments in stores, apps, and online.

Apple Pay makes transactions quick and safe, verified with Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode. This adds convenience while keeping payments secure.

Expect other banks to join soon as Apple expands partnerships in the country. The rollout follows Google Pay’s entry into the country last year and GCash’s upcoming feature where users can link cards as a funding source.
